It’s been announced that the current openSUSE Ambassador program has changed. The new program comprises of openSUSE Advocates. The latter can be any openSUSE enthusiast who wants to promote the project. There is no need of being traditionally introduced/welcomed by the openSUSE Ambassador team. This change will surely encourage a lot many users to become openSUSE Advocates.

Another change brought about which concerns directly current ambassadors is the Local Coordinator. Current ambassadors can now become local coordinators who will in-turn help and guide the advocates.
