Last Thursday we celebrated a colleague, Ubaid Nujjoo’s birthday. The surprise was doubled for him when her sister informed that she can make a birthday cake for him. That was perfect. Instead of us getting a traditional birthday cake from the pastry shop, we could get something much more to his like.

The mini-birthday-party was scheduled at 15h00 and everyone at my workplace knew their role to play. We behaved as if it was a normal tea party; something the System & Dev team usually organizes. This time we had planned a tea-party for all the teams. Ubaid had no idea of what was coming ahead.

A fellow developer, Hyder and I went to collect the cake. Much to our surprise, we got a Minion birthday cake :-)

Ubaid was in full laughs when we told him her sister prepared that cake. He kinda knew from the handwriting and later from the taste.
