ResetTheNet.org

While recent events surrounding privacy breach on MNIC website (Government owned) and another Ministry website have cast doubts over seriousness of privacy by Gov Officials, this morning I was greeted by a nice message that activists around the world are standing against privacy abuse.
First step, I signed the pledge at ResetTheNet.org. Second, I shared Edward Snowden’s message on Facebook.
Then while commenting on a friend’s status I happened to shoot the conversation on Pidgin, XMPP & libotr. It struck my mind, yes, it’s time we promote Internet Security & Privacy just as we advocate Free Software & Open Source. In fact, the young population in Mauritius the past few days have been asking a lot of questions. Many want to learn these stuffs.
