Today, cyber criminals have started targeting people with fake news pertaining to the AirAsia flight QZ8501 that went missing on Sunday 28 December 2014. Again as reported by The Hacker News, posts have been spotted circulating with the title “Missing AirAsia flight QZ850 has been found and that all its passengers are safe and alive”.

Folks, before clicking on any such “news link” make sure to see if the website address corresponds to a trustworthy media channel. If you can’t make out much from the website address, then have a look at major news websites if anything as such has been reported.
